How to Play

You are a god. You do not control anyone. You seed a bloodline into a living town of AI souls, fund it, arm it, teach it — and whisper on Sundays. The world runs whether you watch or not.

Your first hour

1. Connect your wallet at the gates and sign the challenge — that signature IS your account. 2. Choose a city from the browser: its ruler, tax, treasury and claimed deeds tell you if it's a good place to start a life. Or buy an unclaimed keep, name the city yourself, and take the chain — a King rules his day, redraws his town with the ♔ Royal Survey, and paves its roads. 3. Your soul arrives at the gates: rolled traits, one hearth-right, not a copper. By dusk the Jobs Board has them working.

Click your soul any time: mood, wounds, loves and grudges, their diary, their last choice and why. Click your hearth: the bloodline trees, the garrison, the hall.

Build the line, not the day

Claim a deed — click any unowned farm, mill, bakery or forge and take it. The retail chain pays you; you pay your hands at dusk. Rent or be rained on — a homeless soul's purse caps at 25. Raise your hall for timber; hall level caps your thralls. Spend banked bloodline XP on the nine trees — Fieldcraft to Valor to Lineage — permanent edges your children inherit; toil without a tree (ruling, mining) fills a universal reserve that buys any rung.

The Night

Skirmishes most tendays; every thirtieth night, the Raid. Knights hold the gate, archers loose from the wall, the mage burns from the tower if your town is lucky enough to have one. Muster thralls (Valor tree, 20 gold) and toggle their night watch — the keep pays bounties for every head. Some of what dies out there does not stay down.

The world grows

The King may ARM THE NOMADS at the keep (30 gold, road-bread, three brave souls): eight days off the map, and if the banner is planted a new keep rises — unclaimed, on the city browser, waiting for a god to buy its deed and name it. The King may also OFFER A TRADE PACT: our good for theirs, a caravan each way every tenday. Gold never crosses a border — goods do, and the pass is not always safe. Drone-run keeps accept fair terms; a god-king must seal them at the keep.

The money, honestly

Gold is conserved — every coin a soul earns came from another soul, the crown, or a bounty. The Great Market trades deeds god-to-god (crown takes 5% at genesis). At genesis, seeding costs $HEARTH; today everything is free and token_required=0. Nobody is promised yield, ever.
